My Favorite Teacher of All Time

I have had a few favorite teachers during my four years in high school. However, there is one that stands out, Ms. Nancy Day. I remember the first time I entered science for my second class of the day. When I first saw her, I thought I was doing a double take. I had thought she looked like one of my favorite actresses at the time Caroline Rhea. I even told her that at the end of either the first day or the first week. She had said she wasn’t and swore she wasn’t. Inwardly I believed, but at the time, I decided to play along and rolled my eyes at what she said. After that day, I knew I made an impression on her. I enjoyed her class, earned a lot, and tried my best to do well.
Generally, after the school year ends, students can choose to be friends with their teachers. I did, and now Ms. Day has become my closest friend, like an older sister I never had. Over the next three years, she was there to help and support me. When graduation was around the corner, I asked Ms. Day to give me my diploma. It was the best decision of my life. To this day, she is still as supportive as ever, and I am so glad that she was not only my favorite teacher during high school but that she is my best friend and sister!
